ABOUT ME

Celeste Buck is an artist and textile designer born and raised in the sun shine state. She will be graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelors degree in Fibers in June of 2016. Her work contains a variety of interior textiles and wearable art pieces that are inspired by organic textures, geometric shapes and colorful abstractions. Through the art of digital printing, weaving, dyeing and screen printing, her strong feel for color and composition has led her to create expressive prints and patterns with a sense of style.  Her work has been displayed in several Fibers Department Open Studio events and she recently showed work at the Smithsonian Craft Show in Washington DC. Directly after graduation, she will move forward in pursuing a career in the textile design industry as a CAD designer for Abercrombie & Fitch’s corporate headquarters in Columbus, OH.
