The Forsaken Beauty Collection is a series of hand- hemmed, 100% silk screen printed scarves. This design was inspired by an antique deer skull, which hangs in a friend’s living room in Savannah Georgia and the beautiful flowers that are inhabitant to desert landscapes. Each color-way embodies the hues that appear throughout the day in the sandy wasteland. I wanted to produce a sequence of elegant and vibrant scarves that act as marvelous accent pieces for any occasion.

The Zemblanity wallpaper Collection utilizes innovative materials and experiments with multi- printing methods, to create pieces that illustrate the repellent elements of disease in a chic appearance. My vision was to find beauty and attraction out of an issue that is unpleasant and overlooked. Through my work, I want to inform people about the long term dangers sicknesses have on the body.
This is a hand-made jacket inspired by a Stanley Kubrick Classic, A Clockwork Orange. In the movie, the main character possesses a funky futuristic quilt, which is seen in many scenes of his room. This "one of a kind" prop influenced me to recreate my own version as a three dimensional, wearable art piece.

As part of my Zemblanity series, this 100% cotton hand- woven and hand sewn dress is one of my ways of shedding light on the kinds of diseases associated with unhealthy nutrition. This garment was first woven using a screen printed warp-painting technique, then embellished with rose gold foil. The objective was to create a wearable piece that displays the repellent features of bacterial infections in a fashionable, stylistic manner.

This dress was the result of a collaboration with a senior fashion student. I was chosen to weave three yards of fabric for Abbey Eilerman’sFiesta Forever collection, which was selected to be in the 2015 SCAD fashion show last year. This fun and flirty assortment of women’s garments were inspired by retro fashion styles with a twist of cultural party flair. As the textile artist in this collaboration, I had artistic freedom in picking funky yarns and designing energetic vibes in the hand woven fabric.

These interior textile samples are another mini series within the Zemblanity collection. Created to show the repulsive features of diseases caused by unhealthy diets, as commercial or home interior upholstery fabrics. Digitally printed on cotton sateen, then finished with either foiling or puff adhesive accents, these textiles can be seen as elegant wallpaper or striking tiling.
